The Snipe Tool makes adding snipes a one click process, directly from eBay.  We currently offer a Snipe Tool Extension and for older browsers or browsers that don't support extensions, we have a Snipe Tool Bookmarklet.  Both versions of the Snipe Tool, open a small window and allow you to enter a snipe - without ever leaving eBay's website.  To add and use the Snipe Tool, follow the directions below:

Add Snipe Tool to your Browser

1. Go to the Snipe Tool page (you will see the best option for your browser).
2. Follow the directions on the page.

Using Snipe Tool Extension

1. Find an eBay auction, on eBay's website.
2. Click the Snipe button (below the Bid button).
3. Login to your account.
4. Enter your Max Bid.
5. Click the Save button.
6. Close the Snipe Tool (automatically closes after 5 seconds).

Using Snipe Tool Bookmarklet

1. Find an eBay auction, on eBay's website.
2. Click the Snipe Tool bookmark, you added to your browser (usually in your Bookmarks bar).
3. Login to your account.
4. Enter your Max Bid.
5. Click the Save button.
6. Close the Snipe Tool (automatically closes after 5 seconds).

Both versions of the Snipe Tool will only work on eBay auction items. If you try to enter a Buy It Now item or items from a different auction website, you will receive an invalid item message. We currently support sniping on all eBay websites.
