iOS Shortcut

Our iOS Snipe Tool Shortcut allows you to add snipes directly from Safari for iOS and the iOS eBay app, by clicking on an option from the share sheet.

Bookmarklet

Our Snipe Tool bookmarklet allows you to add snipes directly from eBay, by clicking on a bookmark. Please find the instructions for your browser below.

Add Snipe Tool Chrome Extension

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click on the blue ADD TO CHROME button in the upper right corner.
  3. Click on the Add Extension button.
  4. Browse to an eBay auction item and click on the Snipe It button below the Place Bid button.
  5. The Snipe Tool window will appear and ask you to login to your AuctionStealer account (If you haven't recently). Enter your Max Bid, click the Save button and your item will be added.
If the Snipe Tool window does NOT appear, check to see if your browser blocked it. If Chrome did block the Snipe Tool window, you can click on the Blocked message and Allow Always option.

Add Snipe Tool Firefox Extension

  1. Go to the Firefox Add-On Store.
  2. Click on the blue Add to Firefox button under or next to AuctionStealer Snipe Tool.
  3. Click on the Add button.
  4. Finally, check the checkbox next to "Allow this extension to run in a private window" and click Okay.
  5. Browse to an eBay auction item and click on the Snipe It button below the Place Bid button.
  6. The Snipe Tool window will appear and ask you to login to your Bid Sniper account (If you haven't recently). Enter your Max Bid, click the Save button and your item will be added.
If the Snipe Tool window does NOT appear, check to see if your browser blocked it. If Firefox did block the Snipe Tool window, you can click on the Blocked message and Allow Always option.

Add Snipe Tool Edge Extension

  1. Go to the Microsoft Edge Store.
  2. Click on the blue Get button in the upper right corner.
  3. Click on the Add Extension button.
  4. Browse to an eBay auction item and click on the Snipe It button below the Place Bid button.
  5. The Snipe Tool window will appear and ask you to login to your Bid Sniper account (If you haven't recently). Enter your Max Bid, click the Save button and your item will be added.
If the Snipe Tool window does NOT appear, check to see if your browser blocked it. If Edge did block the Snipe Tool window, you can click on the Blocked message and Allow Always option.

Add Snipe Tool Opera Extension

  1. Go to the Opera Add-Ons Store.
  2. Click on the green Add to Opera button in the upper right corner.
  3. Browse to an eBay auction item and click on the Snipe It button below the Place Bid button.
  4. The Snipe Tool window will appear and ask you to login to your Bid Sniper account (If you haven't recently). Enter your Max Bid, click the Save button and your item will be added.
If the Snipe Tool window does NOT appear, check to see if your browser blocked it. If Opera did block the Snipe Tool window, you can click on the Blocked message and Allow Always option.

Add Snipe Tool to iOS

  1. On your iOS 13 or 14 device [ skip if on iOS 15 or later ] go to Settings > Shortcuts > Make sure "Allow Untrusted Shortcuts" is ENABLED.
  2. Download the Snipe Tool shortcut by clicking this iOS Shortcut button.
  3. Click on the "Add Untrusted Shortcut" button.
  4. Now use either Safari or the eBay app to find an item, click on the Share icon, scroll down to the bottom and click on AuctionStealer Snipe Tool.
  5. The Snipe Tool window will appear and ask you to login to your Bid Sniper account (If you haven't recently). Enter your Max Bid, click the Save button and your item will be added.
If the AuctionStealer Snipe Tool is not in your share sheet: Open the Shortcuts app, click on the 3 dots in the Snipe Tool shortcut, click on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner next to the shortcut name and make sure Show in Share Sheet is turned on. You can click Done a few times to save the changes.

Chrome

  1. Verify that you can see your Bookmarks Bar. If you can't, you can enable it by following these directions: View » Always Show Bookmarks Bar.
  2. Drag this Snipe Tool button to your Bookmarks Bar.
  3. Now browse to an ebay item page and click on the Snipe button.

Firefox

  1. Verify that you can see your Bookmarks Toolbar. If you can't, you can enable it by following these directions: View » Toolbars » Bookmarks Toolbar.
  2. Right click (Mac: Ctrl + Click) on this Snipe Tool button.
  3. Click on Bookmark This Link.
  4. Select the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder from the Create In dropdown and click on the OK button.
  5. Now browse to an ebay item page and click on the Snipe button.

Edge

  1. Verify that you can see your Favorites Bar. If you can't, you can enable it by following these directions: View » Always Show Favorites Bar.
  2. Drag this Snipe Tool button to your Favorites Bar.
  3. Now browse to an ebay item page and click on the Snipe button.

Opera

  1. Verify that you can see your Bookmarks Bar. If you can't, you can enable it by following these directions: View » Show Bookmarks Bar.
  2. Drag this Snipe Tool button to your Bookmarks Bar.
  3. Now browse to an ebay item page and click on the Snipe button.

Safari for Mac

  1. Verify that you can see your Favorites Bar. If you can't, you can enable it by following these directions: View » Show Favorites Bar.
  2. Drag this Snipe Tool button to your Favorites Bar.
  3. Now browse to an ebay item page and click on the Snipe button.

Safari for iOS (iPhone & iPad)

  1. Copy the Snipe Tool bookmarklet code by clicking on this button.
  2. Click on the Share icon (the box with the arrow pointing up) at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Click on Add to Favorites.
  4. Change the name to "Snipe Tool" and click on Save.
  5. Click the Bookmarks icon (the open book) at the bottom of your screen and find the Snipe Tool in your Favorites folder.
  6. Click Edit and tap on the Snipe Tool favorite.
  7. Tap on the URL, Remove the current URL by clicking on the X icon, then tap twice, select Paste and click Done.
  8. Now browse to an ebay item page, click the Bookmarks icon and click on the Snipe Tool Favorite you just edited.

Internet Explorer

  1. Verify that you can see your Links Toolbar. If you can't, you can enable it by following these directions: View » Toolbars » Links.
  2. Right click on this Snipe Tool button.
  3. Click on Add to Favorites.
  4. Confirm the Security Alert by clicking on the Yes button (This tool is very safe).
  5. click on the Create In button.
  6. Click on the Links folder and click on the OK button.
  7. Now browse to an ebay item page and click on the Snipe button.
